FAQs

Can I shoot my own bow?

Safety is our number one priority. Our session package includes all rental equipment in the cost, but we do not offer discounts for using your own bow. You are welcome to bring your own bow to shoot, but it must inspected and approved by the Rangemaster at their sole discretion before shooting your own bow on the range. Typically, COMPOUND BOWS with a mechanical release device must require prior experience and the appropriate arrows.

I don’t see any available timeslots on the reservations page. Can I still reserve?

All classes (reserved or walk-up) are scheduled through our reservations page. Typically, classes are posted 1-2 weeks in advance. Registration closes 1 hour before the start of a class. If you are a walk-up, come see us in person (on the range) to see if we have availability or schedule yourself for any open time slot. Contact us at info@bigpinesarchery.com or text or call (760) 563-6292 if you would like to inquire about a time that you don’t see available on the site.

Hours of operation for 2024:
Saturday and Sunday: 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm. Walkups welcomed.
Thursday, Friday, Monday: strictly by appointment only.
Tuesday, Wednesday: Closed.

Can my kids shoot?

Yes! Kids can shoot from age 6+. Archery is a great way for kids to learn safety, discipline, and mental focus while enjoying the outdoors. It is recommended that younger children have previous athletic experience and should follow instructions well. Please keep in mind that safety is our number one priority, and repeat safety violations could result in immediate expulsion from the range (at any age).

Do you accept tips? Where can I leave feedback?

While not necessary, gratuities are greatly appreciated and 100% of tips go to the instructor. You do not need to leave a gratuity upon reservation but you are welcome to. If you had a great experience with your session, you can leave a tip for your instructor here.

Any feedback helps us grow! Leaving a review of your experience helps others discover us.
